Nice place to embark. For the send off, as RC was filming a commercial, we went next to the Statue of liberty and it was a great way to leave. It is quite close to EWR airport with a fantastic background

I gave it 5 stars although Beyonne requires a 45 min. to an hour drive and the uncertainty regarding traffic adds stress. I would have preferred the old New York City terminal, but it is what it is.

loved that the parking was so near. I was concerned about this especially since it was snowing the day we left and freezing and snowing the day we returned.

Thank goodness for GPS! Once off the turnpike, the cruise port was not easy to find. Also, while we waiting to be picked up, it was over 90 degrees. There was 1 drink machine for several THOUSAND people. Of course the machine emptied quickly. There was no place to get water. We were not permitted back in the building. There was a rest room available, however. Just no way to get water.
