I was very impressed with the shuttle to and from Magic Kingdom. Traveling with two children can be a task but Carnival was very organized getting us loaded on and off the bus. The commute to Magic Kingdom was an hour and we were able to get there before any traffic. Getting into the park so early allowed us to enjoy rides without a long wait time. Carnival did give use directions to use the fast pass but before we figured it out, it was too late. Just as the park was getting super crowded, our shuttle was there to pick us up.

We did the Epcot excursion. It was a 10hr trip duration. Most people said not to do it because it wasn’t enough time, but we did it anyway. I love theme parks, but I have a 4 to 5 hour limit, especially when it’s hot. So I knew that it would be enough time for me. I listened to some people who said that you should have a realistic plan. I went in with the intentions of riding soarin’ & test track and trying a list of foods from world showcase. We did everything that we wanted to do with “a Hour and 30 mins” to spare. So we rode 2 more rides that had no wait time (spaceship earth and Nemo & friends) and shopped around at the stores. I had a great time, but I was ready to go. It felt great when we first got there and then it got hot. We had a total of 6 hours at the park. It took exactly one hour from the bus leaving the port and passing the welcome to Disney world sign. It was an extra 15 mins to get to the monorails. There were way more people going to Magic Kingdom so we lucked out and were able to be first in line for the train. I will say that if you want to save a little extra time Do Not carry a bag or purse. There are two lines of security checks for bags. (One at the monorails and one at the theme park). If you don’t have a bag you get to go straight through. I just had a hip pocket with my passport, cards, carnival key card and cell phone . Cargo shorts/capri pockets would’ve been great. It took a total of 2 hours to get in the park (counting getting there and all the lines). You can save 30 mins if you don’t bring a bag. All in all I had a great time. We got to do everything we wanted and more.

My family and I spent 2 days here before boarding our last cruise and we had an awesome time. Lots of good places to eat, plenty of fun things to do, and alot to learn about the city. I would like to recommend Chowders to eat if you like seafood, and Comfort Inn and Suites as a place to stay. They allow cruisers to leave their vehicles there for the week while you're enjoying your vacation with no worries about anyone breaking into your car. Leaving out of Port Canaveral again in July and can't wait!

Stay away from AAA Transport. If I could give a negative number I would. After 3 calls and 30 people waiting and promises of calling us back they showed up 45 minutes late with a bus with no air conditioning. We were also given the wrong information from them on the return pickup. Once home I called to complain and was basically told that I should be happy that it was only 45 minutes and that they have to to 3 hours window. Horrible customer service. Your better off walking.
