I’m rating Miami Port a 5 Stars, however its a must you be on time, due to gate traffic, it’s better to be early

This was the 1st year we actually visited the area before the cruise. Our other cruises, we got in the night before and went straight to the ship in the morning. Go a day or 2 early and go check out the everglades. They are not too far from port and well worth it!

Caution!!!!!! I-95 express lanes are confusing!!!!! The way the signs read you cannot use 95 South between Hollywood and Miami without having a sun pass (toll pass). However, after getting completely confused and delayed, a couple of locals finally shared the secret - stay to the right - gps will tell you to exit left but don't go too far left - express lanes are left. Just stay to the left of the express lanes and eventually you can veer left safely. P.S. this may not have 🐝 soooo confusing had we not been in the car for over 24 hours and no sleep for over 36 hours! 🤯 So maybe it's really easy. But just remember to allow time for this and rush hour is murder!!!! Happy sailing!

Boarding process was great, specially if you print your documents prior to arrival, allows you to express Embarkation.

Great port for embarking and disembarking. Spent less than 20 minutes at the actually terminal before we were on the boat. Very seamless experience with pleasant staff

This ship was awesome. It was my first cruise and we brought out children along. 13,10 and 9 . They had a blast. The activities onboard were great and there was always something going on for all. The food was great. The lines were long but they moved quickly. The staff were nice, friendly and went out of their way to get to know you. Nassau was fun and beautiful and I was excited to be there and shop. HMC was nice and the free Buffet was good as well. We went back to ship by noon to access the boat at a quieter time. I planned for this trip and read many reviews and was grateful to have everyone’s experiences and Tips to allow me to plan accordingly. We bought the drink package. Forget about the 15 drink per day... we are not drinkers , but the peace of mind is priceless!!!! I was able to drink and order freely knowing our drinks were co weed and we paid our gratuity in advance. I saw many angry faces at the Guest services because they did not calculate their drinks and taxes and gratuity into their budgets this was an awesome trip and we are going to book another cruise with Carnival. We are looking into the Pride.

We always fly into FLL and it is much cheaper than MIA and the hotels are a better rate too. We took an uber from Dania Beach into the port of MIA and it was under $40 where as the hotel wanted to charge us $95 for the same route. We didn't do a scheduled excursion in MIA we just boarded the ship.
