Use SafeCruise Parking vs. port. Half the price....decent service.

Royal Caribbean checking was a breeze at this port. Awesome. We love cruising from Miami , friendly stuff and took exactly 5 min to check in. Keep this up.

Sailing out today on the Norwegian Getaway. Stayed at the Hampton Inn Brickell which is located in a good area and lots of places to eat. Check out the Bayside Marketplace, good music, food and plenty of shops.

Stayed at the Intercontinental overlooking the harbor and cruise ships lined up. Great experience , tapas and champagne at Toro Toro restaurant in the lobby with great salsa DJ. We arrived at 10pm miami time from California they were so courteous and welcoming, awesome experience for a little indulgence. The Holiday inn was 139/night, intercontinental was 150/night with amenities in your room, coffee bar Starbucks in the lobby, elemis shampoo lotions, bathtub and shower, comfortable beds and pillow menu. Join their ambassador program for a yearly fee and get free nights stay, appetizers and complimentary drink in the afternoon. They offer great breakfast and Brunch on Sunday. They use elemis products which I love. Stayed two nights before boarding ship. Used lyft to go to bayside Market place. Simple and easy scheduled the ride to the cruise next day. Great music playing Live, the airport is really close. One thing I highly recommend, I scheduled airport pickup and airport ride back through Asterride private town car, I was worried because of time our flight came in that uber or Lyft and holiday weekend would be booked and best decision I recommend this. Also I flew American Airlines and used their baggage delivery service, my bag was checked in at California. It was picked up by the company and delivered to the hotel waiting for me. $29.00. If you qualify for AA advantage you get 1 free bag checked so for 29.00 dollars not to lug baggage from baggage claim especially with connecting flights and changing planes took the worry and hassle out of that. Just go to the American Airlines website under baggage. I know MSC offers something similar very happy with my whole experience.

We came in a day before our cruise so we can explore Miami. We stay at a hotel on a bay. The hotel was awesome and had a great restaurant/bar on the water. We used Uber to get around. South beach was awesome!

Stayed in South Beach pre-cruise, at Loews Miami Beach. Great hotel, was convenient to shopping restaurants and directly on the beach. After cruise went to pick up a car rental in Downtown Miami... I didn't care for the traffic... It was a zoo. I'm from NY and feel as if it were worse, but that's just me. Overall Miami Beach is a great area.

If you have time- fly in a day early and stay in South Beach.

Miami is Miami. How could one be unhappy in Miami? Took no excursion, but we did stay overnight as we do with each cruise. So we feel native to Miami.
