Easy of course lines but went fast. Sat in the holding area for about 25 minutes till our one was called. Getting off the ramps are steep my suitcase was pushing me down the ramp. Was in our car and on our way by 8:20 am so was happy about that.

Booked the Intercoastal waterway excursion which was better than I thought it would be. A great tour of the city and once on the water a fantastic peek into how the other half live. We enjoyed it :)

We took a walk but really went down to wait for the cruise and did nothing but eat and sleep. Next time we plan to stay at one of the resort hotels.

As far as ports go, this one isn't too bad. The staff is always friendly, and pretty efficient. We have never had any issues getting in & co.pared to some other ports....it's a lot better. As a tip, if you are stuck here for hours before your flight leaves, check into going to a hotel in Ft Lauderdale for the day. Either renting a room or just paying some $ to use the facilities. The Atlantic Hotel & Spa is a good choice (as an FYI). Get an Uber or Lyft from the port & another when you are ready to hit the airport!

Getting on and off was so quick and easy. We spent the night at a Super 8 which was okay and then the night back we stayed at Laquinta was the best place to stay and so accommodating.
