Didn't do much but arrive and depart. Stayed one night in a hotel prior to setting sail and that hotel was very nice, Hyatt Place.

Embarkation was a breeze and getting in was no problem at all. Disembarkation was a totally different experience. It was a complete disaster trying to get a ride share out of there. I have been to numerous events, ports, airports, etc and I have never seen such a chaotic seen. Complete incompetence by the port authority. I couldn’t imagine being an older person or disabled person trying to navigate that mess.

Unfortunately we got caught up in the shooting at Ft. Lauderdale airport and our flight was cancelled but Delta Airlines treats us well and taxied us to West Palm Beach and put us up in a Hilton Hotel for two additional nights until we could fly out on Monday.

This port is cool and all the others but like out of one of them I've been to it but two of the ports were so amazing like in saint Maarten we went to maho beach and saw airplanes flying in/out.

Embarkation was very easy and smooth princess has their act together even though it was raining and thunder and lightning everything went on without a hitch it took us about 15 minutes to get on the ship from what time we arrived and got off the shuttle. we met people on the shuttle that this was going to be the first Cruse they even boarded about the same time as we did and we are Platinum so apparently it doesn't really matter if you get there and they're not that busy they will board you they're boarding time was supposed to be 2 o clock.

We had a great Air B&B the night we fore we sailed. The terminal was very modern and well run. We drove into the port from Texas and used a Park and Go with shuttle service. It all ran perfectly.
