I mean.. everything about Florida is already great but boarding onto the boat from Fort Lauderdale’s terminal was super smooth, the water was beautiful & we were on the ship in no time! Only thing that bugged me about getting on was slow walkers and having to wait for the dining area to open (which took forevvvverrr) but that had nothing to do with the port!

We will definitely will sail from this port again. Embarkation was super quick! At the end of the cruise we took the Everglades tour through Royal Caribbean. It was so neat to see the everglades and alligators.

Come a few days early as it is a nice place to explore.

Great beaches, restaurants and shopping. Had lunch at Coconuts Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale Beach prior to boarding the ship. Pier Sixty-Six is a great cruise port hotel with some interesting history.

Quick and easy. Took an Uber from the hotel to the pier. A lot cheaper and easier. No waiting or scrunching in an over filled shuttle bus to get there.

Lots of hotels near the port if you can come a day or more early

Don't go early. When it's your time, you can just walk in. I went early since my flight landed in the morning so I had to wait 2 hours outside and then 2 hours inside. Probably should have dropped my luggage at a hotel and go to the beach instead.

Everglades Airboat ride and Flamingo Gardens. Fun and had a great Captain on the airport ride who told us the history of the Everglades , saw wildlife and native plants. The Flamingo Gardens were very nice and tram ride was very informative. Key Lime pie was yummy.
