Very mixed bag of a city. So beautiful, in spite of stepping around so many homeless people. Heartbreaking. Took the Ride the Ducks tour for $10 less than cruise ship price. Crazy fun way to tour and learn things from the streets and the water. Took Bainbridge Island ferry round trip from downtown and back. $7.50 total. Great experience for the money. Pike Market was a fun strolling place. Multi-cultural people watching was fun. Went to the Amazon To Go Store. Downloaded the app which connected to my Amazon account, so I picked up some snacks and walked out. I got a detailed bill from Amazon shortly thereafter. Very interesting. Lots of food options and walking up and down hills in this city. Interesting and often beautiful architecture. Spent all day Saturday before the cruise doing the tourist routine, which we were glad we did.

Disembarked NCL Joy this morning. I used Port Valet program and was the first group off the ship starting at 7 am. Lines to customs moved quickly. Lots of taxis and shuttles directly outside the terminal doors. If you are using Port Valet, or if you are carrying your luggage and taking the NCL shuttle to the airport, be sure to take a sharp left when you exit the terminal. You will see the large motor coaches lined up and loading folks. 30 minutes to the airport. If you took the shuttle from the airport to the ship, you will notice they drop you back at the same location after the cruise. 🍹

We had fun in Seattle - went to space needle, EMP museum, and ate at Lowell's in Pike Place Market.

We had a nice day before the cruise. The light rail is an excellent way to get into the city. We enjoyed the Public Market!

There is so much to do in Seattle; however, be aware that Seattle airport (departure) is horrific. I wouldn't fly out of Seattle (SEATAC) airport ever again. That experience was horrible.
