The Space Needle is cool but don't waste your money on the restaurant. The prices are outrageous and you have to spend a minimum of $50 to sit in the restaurant without paying the elevator fee. Entrees are at least $20 each. Check out the Experience Music Project in Seattle Center and go to the Sound Lab to play around with the instruments. It is a good way to waste several hours. Check out the flying fish at the Pike Place Market Fish Store
