Did the Grand Seattle Tour after the cruise and they dropped us off at the airport. We had already seen the Space Needle before the cruise so this tour took us to the Pike Market, another tall lookout building and the Starbucks Headquarters. Tour guide was nice.

We stayed in Seattle a few days, before and after the cruise, but not part of any excursion. Seattle is nice.

We enjoyed Seattle very much. Had a group excursion planned by our travel agent thru Shore Excursions. We had a late flight scheduled after disembarking so the shuttle carried our bags and gave us a full day of shopping, eating and touring Seattle (including the Space Needle, Pike Place Market and Snoqualmie Falls). Our tour guide, Spencer, was very knowledgeable and fun.

Our family of 5 will be flying into Seattle the day prior to our cruise. Debating if we should rent a car or just Uber from the airport to the downtown sites. Any inexpensive hotel ideas or suggestions for getting to the port the next morning?

Lots to see and do - even with all the waterfront construction going on.

We stored our bags at the Pier for $2/bag until 3:00. Then walked to Pikes Market, then walked to the monorail and paid $4 roundtrip for a ticket to the Space Needle/Arts Center. It was a great tour!

Arrived days before our cruise (tomorrow in fact). The Loulay restaurant's charcuterie platter at the Sheraton downtown is a must - flavors that pair so well with the pickled condiments. Space Needle, Chuhiuy gallery, Ray's boathouse (try the Smoked Salmon chowder!), Nordic Heritage museum, and the locks with the Salmon ladder (the Coho are migrating now), and the Tap Room for a late bite and local brews. It's a major metro folks: come prepared and street savvy - but far cleaner and social conscious than other Metros I've lived or visited in. Uber makes it ready, and the drivers all offered great ideas fire places to visit (Ballard, Capitol Hill, etc). Get out there!
