I always love Seattle with many close family living there. Pike's Market, Boeing Field, Puget Sound, and the gateway for the Washington & Canadian Ferries.

Only explored on our own. Did Pikes Market, the boardwalk and needle. Easy to get around with the monorail and light rail.

We did not visit Seattle before or after the cruise. One thing we might have done and might do if we do this again is an excursion on the last day. They had excursions for people whose flight was after specific times, which guarantees you will be on time at the airport.

We based ourselves in Seattle for this trip. We are from Adelaide, Australia, so flew Adelaide to Melbourne, Melbourne to LA, LA to Seattle. Long flights! We spent our first night in Seattle (SeaTac) and conked out. The next morning, strait to the ship. Once the cruise had finished, we stayed in Seattle (Westin) for a week before heading home. We didn’t book any excisions through the ship with Seattle, just did it ourselves.
