Again FOGGY! We had no idea that it would be foggy all the way down the coast!! I went to Montecito (which was where the mudslides had been earlier in the year) and that was fine. My husband went on the Sip 'N Suds tour, which he enjoyed.

Take the street car up to the mission, walk 5 blocks up to the mission, then take street car back to courthouse and go up in the tower. If you have time, visit the Presidio. It is a must. Carry plenty of change for the street car (red line is 85 cents and blue line is 25 cents each way). It's easier to just give them a dollar bill and let them keep the change for the red line. We paid a total of $2.50 for our transportation and $4.00 for Presidio tour for seniors – the best tourist bargain in Santa Barbara port.

The tour to Montecito was not done as described. Basically bus driver drove two miles, dropped us off and told us to come back in an hour. Money to passengers was refunded. Bus tour guide blamed Celebrity excursions which wasn’t the truth. Waste of our time. Better to use the bus in Santa Barbara and do your own tour. I’m sure other tours were much better.

Not a fan of the tour Montecito. The guide was very good but the tour itself was not. Nothing to see at all, just hedges. Even though we knew we wouldn’t see the houses up close we thought we’d see more than hedges.

Beautiful would like to have stayed there longer. I will put that on my list of places to go. They provided a bus downtown for .25 cents best deal around.
