Arrived a few days before our cruise and enjoyed some touristy things.

Simply awesome! Our first visit to San Francisco and will go there again. We pre-paid for our trip to Alcatraz and walked over from the ship. We also took the hip hop bus tour. Go to the office in fisherman's warf to catch the bus. They will negotiate the price! We paid $36 per person. Seems like a lot but we'll worth the city tour.

We live on the coast north of San Francisco and we wish we had sailed round trip San Francisco Sooner. It’s so convenient and no flights involved. The views from our balcony in the stern of the ship, both in port and sailing away, were priceless.

Pier 27 is beautiful and ran smoothly and efficiently. SF is an AMAZING city; however, 4’ish hours didn’t provide remotely enough time to scratch the surface.

Foggy, but it finally almost cleared up around 1 PM. The Hop on Hop Off bus tour we booked took us around town and then we transferred to another bus which took us across the Golden Gate Bridge into Sausalito and back. Then the next transfer bus back into San Francisco had mechanical issues, so we had to stand around for 45 minutes (with about 100 other people) waiting for a replacement bus, which caused us to be late and have to decide between eating lunch or taking the harbor cruise that we had paid for. Too much to do and see in San Francisco for just the few hours that we were there. Be sure to see Pier 39 and the Sea Lions.

On day one we did our own thing, day two Hop on Hop off bus, then visited Fishermans Wharf, and ride a cable car. Probably the best day of the trip.

Third time in San Francisco. Walked along Fisherman’s Wharf, enjoyed lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, and souvenir shopped before disembarking early.

San Fransisco never disappoints! We did the National Parks Alcatraz tour. The Audio tour at no additional cost is a must with narrations by former guards and inmates of the Prison
