Pretty city. Did a trolley tour of the city. It was ok. Got an Uber and the driver told us to see Ocean Beach. It did not disappoint. Beautiful, beautiful place. Spent a better part of the day there shopping and enjoying the beach.

Visited the aircraft carrier and went to shoreline village for lunch. San Diego isn't too far from home so we've been there done that before. We got back to the ship early and enjoyed on board activities some more.

The port looked beautiful as I watched our early morning arrival. We spent no time here; we rented a car and drove north. I know San Diego well and it has much to recommend it.

Did our own excursion on a boat on the harbour. Even though we have been to San Diego before, this gave us a terrific view of the naval yards. The boat left from next to the Solstice.
