Weather in January was terrific, flew in a day early and stayed right across street at Wyndam Bayside. Lots of restaurants and attractions nearby and we toured the USS Midway which was awesome. Cruise terminal was very easy to get through and embark on ship.

Take the old trolley bus town tour, great to see San Diego and get on and off where you like. The old historic town is a good place to go, and Seaport Village is nice with lovely little shops and eateries

Midway Museum was the best. Allow several hours. Visit Little Italy, Seaport Village is charming & I made purchases here.

Sea Port Village that is only a 20 min walk from the ship is fun with lots of shops and eating places.

We didn't do an excursion since we lived here for many years. It was interesting to see how much the downtown area has grown.

San Diego is a great city and having been there many times we enjoyed it on our own.

A nice short walk to USS Midway and Seaport village. Many gift shops and cafe to explore. There’s also a trolley that takes you around town for about $40.
