My family and I loved exploring the Island with the golf cart we rented! It is a beautiful island with so much to see. We enjoyed lunch at the Lobster Trap, and checking out the local shops. I highly recommend this port.

Catalina is one of my favorite ports!! We got off the ship at 10 am and wanted to rent a golf cart, they ran out (plus their website said they never ran out) so we ended up walking around town but at 1 we got a golf cart. So If you are going to Catalina and want to rent a golf cart GET OFF TGE SHIP EARLY! but overall a great port!!

Done Catalina twice- both times from the Imagination 4 day. Both times rented a golf cart. First time doing so, we just followed the numbers of sites to see. Second time, we purchased the scavenger hunt. We had a great time doing this- party of 5. Saw more than I did the first time. Then after returning golf cart- we shopped at the main area right by golf cart rental area. Nice finds and great snacks. Must stop at Scoops and get some gelato.

MY FAVORITE PLACE EVER! Literally talk about Catalina Island all the time! While on the island I enjoyed swimming with dolphins with my family & then ate at a restaurant with a second floor view of the beach (don't remember the restaurants name - sorry!) The beach was peaceful and there is a little ice cream ship that is amazing! Wish I had more time to explore the island. I even heard from other passengers that there was baby tigers.

Even though we decided not to get off the ship in Catalina, we had an awesome experience with A Taste of Catalina. We had pre- purchased tickets for their Happy Hour Walking Tour, but when we could not make it to the tour due to illness, they understood and provided a full refund even though they usually cannot do “same day cancellation” refunds. That is incredible customer service and we can’t wait to return to Catalina to try their tour!

Electric bikes are the way to go. Cheapest and can still get you all around the island at nearly 20mph.
