Rent a golf cart to take a tour of the Island. $40 an hour. Great adventure.

We liked Catalina. The weather was perfect. We rented a golf cart directly from the golf cart rental store, it was cheaper than booking on the ship. Even if you don't book an excursion you can easily walk around the shops. there is a small beach near the shops also.

We took a tour of the island. There was one nice view of the cove. I don't understand why people go to this island at all. Maybe it's a good diving spot?

Beautiful place! We walked around on our own for 3-4 hours..checking out stores, the coastline and some of the town. Would have loved to see more affordable excursion options.

Pleasant place to wander around...whale watching was awesome, as a school of dolphins started leaping around passing our boat

Go to the Conservancy office on 3rd and get information about hiking. There is a 5 mile hike to the sky that is magical!

Rent a golf cart to see more of the island than just the frontage street. Parasailing was awesome!

We’ve been here a number of times but still enjoy it. We ate lunch at a small, historical pizza place located at a block off of the main drag. It was Antonio’s Original Pizza and it was excellent. We each had a brew and a slice (excellent pizza) for under $20 total... The many autographed movie star’s pics on the wall indicated that it was the “it” place to eat, back “in the day”. Still is very, very good.... It rained and it was chilly but we still had a great time.

Amazing!!! Highly recommend the tour bus and not the golf carts, during the tour you are given a wonderful history lesson about Catalina.
