The city was pretty small and there wasn't a whole lot to do. Can't blame the city or the ship for this. It was a late-minute addition to the itinerary.

The ship excursion that we took was a little disappointing as I am not much of a shopper, We visited Cannon Beach and Sea Side. Other than breathtaking beaches, there is not much going on in these towns during the fall months. It also left no time to explore Astoria itself which is a slight walk away from port.

Originally we did not think that we would enjoy this stop but we were wrong. It was enjoyable even though they employed school buses.

Rented a car and drove down the coast. Wonderful scenery and interesting little stops

A rainy day did not keep us from enjoying the Ultimate Oregon Experience but would have liked to have more time to explore Cannon Beach and Astoria itself.

Not much to do. Looked around on our own. No taxis on weekend. Pretty area.
