Simply beautiful. Fish visible soon as you get off the tender at the yacht club. Great place to go for scenic walks. Follow the foreshore & the road up the hill and take the 2nd dirt road at the top and follow that for great views

Lovely place. Hired a taxi for the day and agreed to pay when back at the boat. Went snorkelling at one beach and then to a lagoon beach to sunbathe, lovely place.

Kinda sketchy little port- had to tender in. Good shopping opportunities and deals. I just walked around solo. Wife was in quarantine ship side. Heard there were other nice excursions. Nice people. Definitely some poverty & squalor and what goes with that.

One of my favourite destinations in Fiji! It is worth being on deck or on your balcony as you arrive and depart this Island for the breathtaking views. It is nestled between many islands and has a remote feeling whilst still being a small town. The locals are friendly and we got a taxi to a beach as we had not booked an excursion. We were told by our travel agent that there was a place you could swim as you hit off tender boats. This is not the case. So with minimal cash on us, we were able to get a cab ride to a well known beach for a lovely swim. The Island is just beautiful, and has some very exclusive resorts to stay. The drive was lovely looking at the beautiful lush landscape and seeing the homes of the local people. People never talk about this Island when speaking about Fiji, and not many ships visit from my knowledge. I went on a Princess cruise which was amazing. One of my favourite ports. It was VERY hot, as is all of Fiji. I live in Australia, but found the heat another level! Make sure you have an excursion or money to access a swim if you feel the heat.

Wow what s culture shock. We caught the tender to the little dock. We walked the streets here, we walked through local market. Lots of tents selling goods again they take FJD and AUSD. New World IGA is where we bought our water it’s very hot and the humidity hits you. Take an umbrella with you for shade. Not much to do here but get off and purchase from 1 of the local tours much cheaper than Princess Cruises and back in time for ship

I did not enjoy this Island as much as the others. When we got into port, the sidewalks we crowded with passengers who just got off the Tenders. In order to get further into the town, you had to use the sidewalks where vendors sold their goods thereby making the sidewalks crowded with onlookers.
