We visited Batu Caves and KL Tower. It took a really long time to get to and from the port to the city. Kuala Lumpur is very dirty, especially the area around the Batu Caves. There's a lot of traffic in the city. KL Tower offered amazing views of the city.

We went on a ship excursion. Most of Kuala Lumpur that we drove through is filled with small older structures -- stores, residences, abandoned buildings. However, the Petronas Towers are impressive from the outside. The tour guide talked incessantly and giggled all of the time. The drive to Kuala took 90 minutes plus and was through an industrial area -- very boring. Traffic to and in Kuala Lumpur is very congested.

too far away from KL, about 1 1/2 hrs, changed money but wouldnt recommend it as we missed our tour bus and had to get the next one, from our ship. they only had one person on money exchange, plenty of places to exchange money in KL, so no need to worry about doing it straight away Only real downfall was the time spent getting to and from the ship, which isnt their fault, so thats why I gave it 5 stars. did the Petrona towers KL Highlights tour, saw the war memorial, and gardens they were stunning. also stopped at old railway building for pictures.

Again - loved the contrast between the British heritage and old sites, with the modern Petronas Twin Towers. A long drive through chaotic traffic - but well worth it.

A lot of driving and nothing to see. Our tour guide spoke poor English and was impossible to understand.
