We went on the Choo Choo train around the island for 11/2 hrs. This time of the year is very humid and my sister and I felt this, so back to ship for us. Had it not been so humid we would have explored the shops also.

We took the ship tour to Amedee Island. We were the first group to leave the ship and the last to get back on. Great excursion, highly recommend it.

Was very easy to navigate around Noumea using the Hop On Hop Off Bus. But the ship did not promote this, preferring to promote their overpriced tours. Beaches were great

We did the touc touc train ride which was very scenic and informative .that was all i enjoyed in Noumea besides the free wi fi .i found the locals to be rude .the town grubby could definitely give it a miss

Did Noumea with RCI Voyager. Not the typical palm trees Sandy Beach island with beautiful scenery. More desert environment with shrub tree topped hills.Commercialized and traffic.Segway with botanical gardens was top notch excursion however.

Bought a tour for Hop on and Hop off bus rides (unlimited) and water taxi to and from Duck Island for AU24. Bus facilities were good and we didn’t have to wait too long. Duck island was ok, be warned you need reef shoes as there is a lot of coral that you will be stepping on! Saw a stingray whilst snorkeling. The water is very low so you will need to be careful you don’t get a cut like I did!
