Bora Bora and Moorea are the most beautifully surreal places in the world I have ever visited. The color of the water is truly indescribable and impossible to capture photographically. It is my idea of heaven.

One of the most beautiful islands you could imagine. Absolutely wonderful scenery and don’t miss the Sailaway and have plenty of Battery on your camera. Also swimming with Sharks/Stingrays here is excellent. Added with a Boat ride around the islands.

Sailed from Vancouver to Sydney on Radiance of the Seas. The waters of Bora Bora were amazing. Friends who had been there previously told us about the beauty and how much clearer than the Caribbean and they were right.

What do you do when it rains (pours) in paradise? We knocked on the front door of a home in Bora Bora asking the resident for shelter. We were welcomed into the large covered porch area and offered a drink. Fifteen minutes later, we were babysitting as our host took off on her bike to the shop to buy provisions for her thirty or so other guests who had seen us enjoying local hospitality and decided to gatecrash! The lady was well rewarded from all concerned. Swimming, snorkelling, water sports, beaches are all great once the thunderstorms have passed. Beautiful, scenic and ideal...weather permitting. Warning, there is no pier in Bora Bora. Warning, the ships lifeboats tender you ashore.

Bora Bora was everything I thought it would be. Swimming there, I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. The boutique shops were fantastic. Overall I don’t think it was overpriced.

My favorite two days. Again a bit rainy but expected, rainy season. Day two the clouds parted and I was able to take a ride with Tahiti Nui Helicopters. Breathe-taking views from the air. Beauty as I had seen in brochures.

Another favorite. (Let me note here that were un-impressed with the price of the Oceania excursions so each excursion we took we booked ourselves.) We took a boat and I snorkeled with sting rays and black tips in about 30 feet of water. A very thrilling and different experience. We even had a visit from a huge, 6 feet or so, lemon shark. At another site, wonder of wonders, I snorkeled with a giant manta ray. Also were taken to a coral garden and barrier reef. English speakers plentiful.
