The port was so-so. The Coral Drift Snorkeling excursion was a wow and 2nd highlight to our cruise experience.

Took a water taxi over to the island to snorkel. It was amazing.

Vanilla Flavor & Tahaa Motu Picnic: Excellent tour. The owner of the Vanilla Plantation was a wonderful, passionate speaker, and a joy to listen to. The Tahaa Motu was a private island visit, again with the wonderful beach conditions with fish swimming abundantly. There was an ample buffet lunch. Also on this tour was a stop in the middle of the ocean to visit sharks, which swam around our boat in great numbers! Another highlight of the trip!

We booked an excursion with Bruno on line ans went snorkeling with the sharks. Amazing.

We went on a snorkel excursion. I recommend doing some sort of snorkel excursion or island tour since there is not much to do in the main town. Local tours are offered as you come off the tender. We ate at a geat Chinese Restaurant, the Sea Horse right where the tender drops you off.
