Wellington, New Zealand Port Reviews

Highlights pf Wellington was supposed to include trip up a mountain to a panoramic view, but there was an event on the mountain and our bus could not go. We took a cable car to another scenic overlook and a botanical garden, we also toured the city. Our driver was also the tour guide and he seemed like he was having a bad day. But the trip was fun.

The capital was a little drive from the port and the view after taking the cable car was impressive. Also enjoyed the Zealandia Eco Reserve and the opportunity to see wildlife as it used to before all the introduced species.

Highlights of Wellington- Mt Victoria for view by incline which was cool. Old St Paul’s Church- all wood- pretty and a garden.

Loved it taking a self-arranged e-bike tour through the waterfront.

Port was closed. Didn’t dock. Bad weather

Great place to call in and see The Lord of the Rings tour was great A visit to the Te Papa museum is a must Explains the NZ history very well along with the Anzac tribute The cable car up the mountain was good but I advise to get there early as the crowds build up very quickly

Wow what a windy city. I think the said the wind gusts were 124 kph or 77mph when we were there. Has a great museum right on the harbor which is wonderful to walk around if you don't get blown over. We took a cable car up the one hill and had amazing views, plus nice botanical gardens there.

Wellington is beautiful city with magnificant views. We did a city highlights tour, including riding the cable car. Next time it would be nice to explore by foot.
