In Tuaranga, we expereinced another Maori experience where we visited a wildlife and Maori cultural center that included a visit to mujd pits and geysers where your luch is prepared, a small zoo, and and Maori crafts factory. Also, included was a visit to a kiwi farm where we could see how they are grown sample different varieties, and taste kiwi juice, kiwi fruit, kiwi liqueur, and a host of other products.

Excellent port. The people were great and our excursion took us to visit a Kiwi farm, the geo thermal park and Maori people, Rotorua and the Redwoods along with an amazing lunch. Informative and Educational.

This is one of the prettiest ports. We did not do an excursion, instead we bought ourselves a 90 minute massage and entry to the Hot Pools at the base of Mount Manganui. This is about a 20 minute casual walk from the ship.
