Went skydiving in Tauranga the most fantastic thing I've ever done, amazing views of the whole area beautiful from the air. Nice town, lots of shops and bars

Really enjoyed the walk around Mount Maunganui. The passage out Port Tauranga is one of the most interesting aspects of our visit to Tauranga.

When in Rotorua, be sure to visit the Hell's Gate Geothermal Reserve and the Kakahi Falls - a large hot waterfall. If you have time, be sure to include a visit the Mitai Village for a guided tour, a wonderful Maori cultural performance with traditional costumes and a delicious buffet lunch.

We booked the Hobbiton trip with Zealandier’s tours directly. This is not to be missed. Our tour guide Grant kept us informed all day. It was quite a hot day and there is a fair bit of walking on a gravel pathway but wow what a set! At the end of the tour you get a free beer in the Green Dragon pub. On the way back we were taken to a waterfall and a honey shop . Although we were in port until 7:15pm rather disappointing that the local shops closed at 5 so we didn’t have time to wander around

Another beautiful city and equally beautiful people. We could not have asked for a more perfect weather day . . . and we are from Los Angeles, CA so we know all about beautiful weather. Its hard to beat this day. Plenty of shops and gift shopping extremely reasonable.

Just get off the ship and go for a walk around the town. Quaint town and easy access. Lots of cafes and good beaches for a walk. There are many basic shops for essential items and lovely scenery everywhere.

The highlight port of our cruise. We took an off-ship tour bus and Rick, out tour guide was wonderfully knowledgeable and witty. The Te Puia Maori village, Geysers and Kiwi fruit farm visit were outstanding.
