We got to explore Sydney after the cruise and did not do an excursion through Princess. I highly recommend doing the Hop on/Hop off bus and seeing the Taronga Zoo!

This is best port when you visit Australia. We when to The Rock Market, Bondi Beach, Darling Port. A lot of energy and youth in Sydney. Great bars, restaurants to be visit

Walked through town, downtown mall stores interesting. Visited the nice aquarium, but it was Saturday and filled with children. Took a Ferry back to the port. Not enough time. Several days or a week would be nice.

Another Sydney sider here. Yes we have a beautiful harbour and if you lucky enough to be leaving from the OPT (overseas passenger terminal) you have easy access to public transport. However if you are at White Bay cruise terminal it is a little bit more complicated, as there is no direct public transport access. Best time to visit Sydney is probably Autumn, Winter and Spring as Summer is very hot with unsettled weather ranging from extreme heat and fires to thunderstorms and floods.

Get there early and spend a few days (or more) in Sydney. Beautiful and clean and there is so much to do.

Disembarkation port, but took the Princess port to hotel to airport transfer and stayed in their hotel three days two nights, "Four Seasons".

Best post of the cruise ! Stayed for days.. No excursion here. Lots of things to do.. Really love it and would love to go back..

We were at a distant port and didn't get good information about the walk to the opera house. They also stopped transportation early and we had to take at $40 cab ride back to the ship in traffic (we went to see My Fair Lady). We loved Sydney, but make sure you get good information and directions.
