Port Chalmers is a lovely spot and very interesting with Scottish history. We did not disembark this time as we have been there before.

Nice small town. Train ride (not through ship) was excellent. No ship excursion.

Took the train excursion. Lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed our train car volunteers who made sure we ate, drank and gave us lots of information about the areas.

Better than expected. We did a bus tour of the highlights of Dunedin. This tour was delayed over an hour, but we were assured our tour would not be cut short. This was not true, our tour was cut short. After complaining we were given a token 20% refund for a 4 hour tour that lasted 3 hours...go figure!

By far our favorite port/stop in New Zealand and wished we had more time or an overnight to explore all that Dunedin offers. We did a tour with Experience Dunedin on a modified 5 person motorcycle and the owner/guide was fantastic and it was a great way to see the city. Downtown Dunedin has lots of ships and stores as well as a couple of breweries we wished we had time to explore. Beautiful city!

Nice port, dudnt realise that local.tours could be brought here at first. We had purchased our ticket for the transfer bus to Dunedin, then we noticed the tours on offer. Had to ask for a refund on the transfer bus ticket. We decided to do a tour to Lanarch castle with headfirst tours. They were awesome dealing with. The castle was more than amazing. Take the opportunity to visit if you can. Only thing half way up the castle i felt very sick so had to go back down. But loved the country side heading to and fro. Lanarche Castle.
