Booked an independent excursion prior to sailing, which was a lot cheaper than the ships tour, plenty of tours from the port and the staff at the port were very helpful

We did the ship's excursion to see the endangered yellow eyed penguins at Nature's Wonders. We don't think the description provided was very accurate. The penguins are obviously in need of protection but the ships description led you to believe you'd be somewhat close to them. In stead we saw the back of one in high powered binoculars.

Interesting but through my own fault, I hadn’t booked anything and should have had a tour arranged. Wish I hadn’t missed the gorge excursion on the steam train with Celebrity excursions. Train Station visit is a must.

Great town worth the visit. The port is not the main Dunedin one but after a quick shuttle bus trip you arrive in the heart of the town. Lovely small town with things to do

Great port. We had a private driver who drove us around the island and stopped and specific viewpoints. This is a must-see port. One must definitely spend some time driving through the mountains and pastures.

Loved Dunedin! We saw Larnach castle and the gardens! It was amazing and I would definitely go back! Not enough time for everything but we walked around the streets and saw different shops and bought a few things
