Art Deco, and lots of interesting places. We did a winery tour so that we could go out into the countryside. So interesting with the apples growing, and, of course, the grapes. Mission Estate Winery was the highlight for me. I could happily stay here for weeks.

Not much to do hear. The Art Deco is OK, but only a couple blocks in town. Not that impressive. The museum was outstanding!

We spent the time in town: beautiful. Amazing that the town and many homes were rebuilt in two years after the earthquake. Visited a wonderful aquarium.

Loved. Went to Visitor Center and booked an Art Deco tour in the city and surrounding neighborhoods. Came back to town and went to museum to see earthquake exhibition.

The free shuttle took us to the very art deco town of Napier. We walked around town and along the coast, then we went to the wonderful museum. It told us much about the city, people, earthquake and more.
