Very clean and friendly town. The shuttle takes you off the quayside in a few minutes and then you can easily walk everywhere. Don’t miss the museum and there is a nice restaurant overlooking the marina called Skeetas. Ideal for drinks or a light lunch. There’s also a shopping mall with a large Coles supermarket.

Was a nice quaint town with pretty little harbour and market. A lot of places were closed as it was the weekend. Buildings were quite grand for a small town. The trip to the war memorial was very interesting and quite attractive and solemn.

The visitor information people handed out information printed on cardboard fans--nice thought for this hot day, We took a shuttle to the end of the pier. In the town there were stores and areas for WiFi. We went to St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, and at noon the new bells were run for the first time with a nice ceremony. I could see the lighthouse as we left the port.
