Brisbane, Australia Port Q&A

4.2
I see there are excursions on the day you board ship. Kind of confused on how this works since some of the excursions are quite long.

Pre-cruise offers mostly, some are days leading up to embarkation day, some are day of cruise transfers in or out of port and include cruise or Airport drop-off with luggage. You just have to read carefully, not be afraid to contact support, and use only reputable venders like the cruise-lines themselves or GetYourGuide or ShoreExcursionsGroup dot com. Some are there to help you find something to do in that port town if there is a day between flight and cruise or a day off after cruise and before your flight home. Once you cruise a lot, you learn more and find out there are excursions you can book almost anywhere, even your home town, state or province. You gain a kind of a "what one excellent thing can I do today?" excursion mentality. Have fun, have a plan B, only book cancellable.
