Did not get off here weather was not good at all very wet and cold and you had to go ashore by tender boat and it was rough.

Wet and windy, transfers back to ship not handled well bad weather, but worse communication.

We boarded a luxury catamaran and toured the lovely inlet. Be sure to see the Hole-in-the Rock and beautiful Motukokako Island. Our boat actually went through the hole in the rock. We saw jumping fish and swooping birds. Also saw a pod of bottle-nose dolphins.

After getting off the tender went into the township by the bus and did a local cruise out to the Hole in The Rock. This was awesome as we managed to go through the Hole in the Rock and on the other side was many birds and also lots of trout. The charter boat put their line out and caught one of the fish another got away. Went to the Treaty house which is also amazing Highly recommend going there. Bay of islands township also has an awesome pie shop

The landscape is beautiful but we were too late for the hole in the rock tour. The shops had no power the day we went so they were doing the best they could to accommodate us. Russell Island was nice but I wouldnt go back. All round nice to see.

Paihia is a really interesting place especially the Waitangi Treaty experience and the ferry to Russell And looking around Russell is interesting.
