Captain decided he did not want to visit this stop either and thought we would all like 3 days in a row at sea.

Did not do an excursion. Walked along the beach. An okay stop. All of the excursions are wildlife oriented and we'd seen enough penguins.

Take a tour to the penguins! This is (really!) not a replica of Stanley! Visited Punta Tombo.

The city itself was OK. We did an excursion to see the Magellenic penguins which was excellent, but long because of the rough terrain to get to the penguins.

Was a 2.5 hour drive to the penguin reserve but was well worth it. Was by far my favourite tour of the trip. Only wish we could have spent a bit more time there and not felt so rushed.
