There is so much to see and do in Lima - plus we had no idea that coastal Peru is actually a desert! No wonder the archeological sites are fairly well preserved!

It's a food Mecca with great bohemian neighborhoods. Just use a private tour company like TBL, unless you want to sit on a Celebrity tour bus for hours with 60 other people.
