We booked a walking tour here, but the guide didn't show up, he had great reviews on TripAdvisor. So we walked around on our own; never felt unsafe as Limon is a very laid back town. I didn't take any pictures.

Nice shopping in port but locals need to understand that shouting "Lady, lady come here, you need a T shirt, you need...... " over and over is not welcome. Exhausting after a while though the people are friendly and will stop if asked. Kids did an excursion to rain forest which they loved though this area is very hot.

No excursions, did hear great things about the excursions. City is poor, tour hawkers outside port gate were pushy. Working port.

Costa Rica was gorgeous. Took the Veragua Rainforest/Tortuguero Canals tour. Veragua Rainforest is magnificent. Would highly recommend going there. The Tortuguero Canal tour was only about 45 minutes at the end of the day and we didn't see much. We could have skipped this part.
