Very poor country. Vendors follow close trying to sell you the trinkets and (get your dollars).

Did the banana plantation tour. Very interesting and a good tour. Afterwards you go to a "Hacienda" which is not a hacienda, rather a building built specifically for tourists for shopping.

We just had a pedi-bike driver take us on a tour around town. Be sure to ask if the driver speaks your language, as we almost hired one that did not. It's a poor area with people begging in some places.

Old and New Leon. A lot of driving. Disappointed in "old". The new was really interesting.
