Don't wast time or $ going on excursion to the "ruins" because there is almost nothing to see. They are mostly under ground because the $ needed by the government to excavate and preserve them has never been allocated.

don't waste your time going to town been hear twice and was the worst port on the cruise both times.Not to much at the port and do NOT buy the wifi its terrible at best.

Middle of nowhere, lots of gunfire to be heard as entering the port (turned out to be a border military base practice range, but a little unsettling). NOTHING in the port or town but poverty.
