The transit is amazing. It sprinkled on us for a little while so we had to retreat inside the ship and look at the scenery. The jungle is gorgeous and we were able to see where the Chagras River emptied into Gatun Lake. It wasn't until we were in Gatun Lake that we saw two way traffic. We were also able to see ships in the new locks from a distance. The bird life was incredible along the shores. The brown pelicans were diving into the water very near our ship catching their dinner.

Done it many times, always interesting. If you have never done the Panama Canal, try to arrange it.

All day going through the canal with a narrator was the best! So fascinating!

It is an all day experience going through all the locks. Everyone should do it once in a lifetime. There is a narrator explaining the area and the whole process on the public address system all day.

With a 5 AM arrival in Panama City to start, we missed this part of the transit and the travel through the first set of locks. Travel through the canal and locks was very entertaining - it's hard to believe the canal was built over 100 years ago. The ship lecturer's commentary through out the transit was very entertaining and informative.

We didn't stop but enjoyed watching the ship go through the canal from our balcony.

The transit was really cool to see and the main reason we went of this ship. It was very interesting to see how the ships are transported between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
