Very interesting port. Excursion was not that wonderful. Feedback from most passengers was the locks were wonderful but excursions a bit disappointing.

Excursion was not worth the money nor my time. Aerial tram ride took about 10 minutes, for a 4 hour bus trip

The tours are expensive,stay on the ship.

Through the canal was great but tours after not so good, also because of ships, you may have to modify your time schedule.

You can see the whole canal but you need to get off the ship at Gautun and take an excursion--either a boat ride to the Pacific or the antique train which runs along side the canal. Both are fun.
