This was an inspiring itinerary although I though the time in the ports were short. The cruise line needs to figure out a way to extend the time in the various ports. The Panama Canal is awesome, and the rain forest in Costa Rica is superb!
Caribbean Princess Cruise Review to Panama Canal, Central America
We are advid cruisers. This cruise is likely part of our top 5. We wanted to see the awesome wonder of the Panama Canal and this cruise fully satisfied that desire to see this wonder of the world. It was a great itinerary and to be able to stop in Columbia and Costa Rica was icing on the cake. Princess, well done! We love your service and we will keep coming back.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
The embarkation and debarkation were very smooth and professional. Princess crews do a great job in the logistics of moving people at te beginning and at each port,
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The Princess cuisine is excellent! If you can’t find something good to eat at either the dining rooms or buffets, then you’re not hungry. The Market Place (Buffet) has an enormous selection of foods to choose. And, the dining experience is simply over the top.
Vines Wine Bar

If there is one single thing to talk about on this ship is the show. These are outstanding Hollywood level shows and the Princess dancers are simply superb! All of the acts from the Comedian to the Magician were very sharp and professional.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service was very professional and our room was kept clean and well groomed. Our steward (Joey) was always available and happy to entertain what ever we need in the way of room products, washing, cleaning and preparations. Simply marvelous.

Vert well maintained cabins and not one item of trash can be found anywhere on the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

Great cabin. This is the 2nd time that we cruised on this ship. Earlie we had cabin D325, and both times, the services were superb.
Ship tip
Our tip is to stay and active and enjoy as many amentities as possible on this great ship. There is so much to do and see.
Yes, we got off at every port. We like to stay busy and had a planned excursion at every port. The Everglades tour was our second, and we both agreed that the first time back in the year 2005 was the best. This Everglades tour was “too” commercialized and we found that every little act “asked” for donations. The Hoover crafts have been modified with a “steel” top, although it keeps the sun and water spray off the guests, it obstructs the view. Not a very good tour at all. However, all of the princess tours were great.
Good to hear you enjoyed your cruise. We did this cruise in January. If you haven't done the original locks cruise you should try it. There is definitely a difference and something to experience. We too are loyal Princess cruisers and find no fault with your review because the same has held true on our 17 Princess Cruises.
