The canal zone was AWESOME! we loved it. We were not allowed to get off the ship because of the line through the canal zone, but the trip along the calal and the lake was so good we loved it! it was wonderful and the entire day was great!

Panama City is a modern, energetic city, with beautiful, modern architecture. It is the financial capital of Central America, and we enjoyed the city.

Tender problems meant a two-hour delay for those leaving on excursions and for those just wanting to go ashore. Plus, this was a NIGHTTIME port-of-call, arrived at 6PM, lett at 4AM. I wished they had dropped Puerto Vallarta, and let us have the day in Panama City instead.

Visited Gamboa Rain forest resort, great tram ride and view from the top. Also saw the butterfly and sloth sanctuary.

Frank Gehry Biomuseo & Panama City Tour. The museum exterior looked great in the photos, but was quite weary in person. Tour guide, as well as initial museum docent, were not clear as to how to proceed through the museum. Interactive exhibits really didn't do much. City tour was interesting.
