One day would be great. But Wasting two days is boring. Very hot and humid lake. Nothing special. Lots of mosquitoes and bugs. Would never go back. Plus the toll to pass was around $40,000 and no offshore excursions. I have heard Chinese want to build another one in Nicaragua.

The bus trip to Panama City was the worst trip I have ever been on. Guide was poor plus when youstate the historical site let us know it means the slums.

Ship only came into the lake to drop of people going on excursions and then returned to the locks. Ship did not cruise the lake. Very disappointed that the ship did not cruise the lake.

Excursions are tendered from this lake. If your in a wheelchair you cannot be tendered, so excursions are not available.
