This was a step into life on Colon. What we saw was city life in Panama.

Was lovely. We had a trip planned from ship mate. We went to rain forest. Saw monkeys and sloths. Went to San lorenzo for which was lovely. And then were taken to along tlsize the panama canal and saw some ships going through. Very interesting trip.

Trinkets all over the place.....Pushy sales people and extreme humidity...Bla. Humbling walk into the local town was a dose of reality. Then I walked, fast, back to the safety of the ship.......

It was Sunday, not much open. We walked to the mall near the port. It rained all day, but was still fun.

Fascinating!!! Went to the canal and the Pacific side. Our tour had one other couple and we wanted to go to the mall...They took us! Spent the whole day with us.

Just went to shops in the port. Was able to buy some toiletries at the local market. Not impressed with the area.
