Cartagena, Colombia Port Reviews

We took own transportation (taxi) I really enjoyed visiting the city on our own. Pepe was absolutely great. It was nice to see a lot of nice birds/animals right at the port. Very nice welcome! Bathrooms were clean and available. Shopping was also nice to have close to the ship.

We took the NCL hop on hop off bus tour - it was informative, but wish we would have done something else.

This was another “big” city. We did the city tour with lunch called “Exclusive Cartagena.” We learned a lot of Cartagena history from an excellent tour guide. The lunch was at a very nice outdoor restaurant and was delicious. Tip-Cartagena has a unique entry to their ships which is a small walk-through zoo and aviary where there are many colorful birds. There are also a couple of nice shopping areas as you make your way back to the ship.

Overnight. Fun excursion to private island day 1 and deluxe city tour day 2. Lots to see and shop in the old city. Possibly the BEST port facility in the Caribbean, there is a zoo at the port.

Walled inner city cool but crowded , lots of traffic

Enjoyed the free zoo at the port and nice gift shop.

We visited the free small zoo/bird sanctuary just a few blocks from the ship. It was nice, and a gift shop is on site with friendly staff.
