Heat humidity make this a difficult place to enjoy. We took a tour to the old fort. The vendors do harass you quite a bit. I said no, gracias more times in this port than I've said in my entire life combined.

Ugh. Not a terrible experience, but not a good one either on the old city. Just an okay tour and vendors everywhere. The hop on/hop off took an hour and a half to get back to the shop in heavy traffic (1p on a Tuesday!). The aviary at the port is a.dont miss.experience. seeing multiple parrots in flight was amazing

Took boat across bay to old town on Celebrity excursion inexperienced guide, recorded not live, constantly harassed by street vendors. Tour ended 90 minutes early squeezed on bus for return to ship. Beautiful city better to take taxi and see for yourself.

Fun place and lots of fun stuff to do but the salesmen acted pushy and annoying one ☝ actually tried to sell a hat on top of the bus 🚌 that we were on! Otherwise Amazing

We enjoyed the old city and the guide made you feel his passion for his city. Negative, street peddlers approaching you in the old city.

Chiva Part bus was a blast but not for people with limited mobility as the steps to get on bus are high

We did the tour by land and sea, and it was wonderful. The boat ride was very interesting and informative as our guide pointed out important areas. I was nervous about the walking tour in Old Town because of some reviews here, but we felt safe, including being on our own for an hour in the walled city. This tour ended with a hike up to the top of San Felipe castle. It's a beautiful city that should not be missed!

Port was good. We took the Catamaran and Walled City tour. That was not very good. Do not recommend.

Took the excursion that included the fortress and the old city highlights. Excellent. Would love to spend more time in the old city. The vendors are a bit pushy though.
