We were recently in Cartagena and my wife and I walked to town from the pier. After walking all around town exploring, we took a cab back to the ship as it was quite a bit warmer later in the day.

No, but the port has a great aviary just for cruisers. Approved cabs are there also. We took a private tour with Dora and highly recommend her. Blessed w!

Google Maps shows a 50 minute walk from the cruise port to the centro, or old town. We took a cab there and back and it was easy.

we did a tour with Dora as well. other couple was a no show so we wound up with a private tour. it was one of our best Excursions!
