We did Starfish Island and we were disappointed! But we went to the port and had a great time. The next time we will do a different excursion. Starfish Island 👎🏻👎🏻

Tender boat ride in and out is long, only visited the shopping area and then back to ship.

Love loved loved it has shops where ur tended off the ship, but it’s a must to do an excursion to really experience Belize everything is 45 mins to and hour away did the snorkeling with nurse sharks and rays excellent experience people of Belize friendly wish one day move there😉

The port was simply terrifying. You have to tender in, which is fine, but the entire port is locked down for security. We did the Lamanai tour which takes you deep into the jungle. The tour itself was great, but you see a lot of intense poverty on the way. I live in Arkansas and I'm used to seeing poverty, but this was beyond. Bring cash. You'll want to tip these people or shop among the locals and there's no working ATM in the port. Lamanai was beautiful, but since I've already seen it now, I would probably stay on the ship if we came back to Belize City.

Been twice... first we took taxi to baboon sanctuary it was ok. Second time we went to Xunantunich long bus ride but worth it. Beautiful place.

I booked an excursion through Norwegian to explore the Xinantunich ruins. It was about an hour ride to the ruins, but very worth it! The guide gave a wonderful tour of the ruins so well that I could picture the native peoples going about their daily lives while he narrated... bring your walking shoes! From the top you can see Honduras. Wonderful view and so impressive!

Five mile tender to town! It went pretty fast and the tenders were large enough to accommodate a lot of people. We didn't book our shore excursion through Carnival so can't comment on what they offered.
