We booked with the ship thank god we did our bus got a flat tire we had to wait for new bus and missed the last tinder boat Carnival arranged a tinder boat to wait for us to get back we where over a hour late had we went with a private company things might have different

Since this is a tender port (w/ a some achor positions at a 45 transit time) and for some ships a different time zone than ship's time be very careful about arranging 3rd party excursions as inexperienced travelers frequently miss the meet-up time, then have headaches getting a refund.

If Carnival still offers the “Taste of Belize”, please take it. It was a wonderful experience and some awesome foods and drinks. We were introduced to a Belize coconut rum that you can only purchase in country. I wished we’d purchased a case. Additionally, some great hot sauces - bought like 4 on the tour.
