We stayed 2 extra days and loved it. Very clean, friendly and easy to get around. The excursions offered by the ship were not accessible to us. Guests from the UK and Australia were able to book the partial day tour and then taxi to their hotel. We were told this was only available if we stayed in the Princess approved hotel. We had a reservation at the JW Marriott South Beach, but could not book the tour

This was our second trip to Singapore (first in 2008). Fabulous place to visit. Slightly disappointed this time as Raffles Long Bar was closed for refurbishment and spirits dampened by torrential rain. Recommend the Botanical gardens, free entry and S$5 entry (S$1 for over 60's) to the Orchid gardens. Garden Bay area impressive as not there 9 years ago. Didn't have time for the domes but lots see just walking around. Plenty of other things to do there; Flyer, Duck tour, HOHO bus tour and lots of shopping malls.

We arrived the day before the cruise. We stayed at the Sheraton Singapore Towers. The transportation around the hotel was very good local bus and MRT trains nearby. We didn't have enough time for a tour. We took a taxi from the hotel to the cruise port. The cruise port has a small Watson Drug Store, Tourist Board Office, a small store that sells coffee, sandwiches, snacks and a few personal items. There is a municipal bus stop at the port and cabs are always available. The nearest MRT train is about one mile away. A group us took a cab over to one of the large malls to buy some water,

Singapore is a modern, efficient city, with great sights that blend art, technology and ecology with amazing results. Garden by the Bay, with the Cloud Forest and Flower Domes and the Great Tree performances, gardens, educational displayed, water playgrounds, and high end food market, can take 2 or 3 days to fully explore. The National Museum is another gem, blending history, art, and technology. The Jurong Bird Park has an amazing array of birds and bird shows and is well worth the price of the ticket. There were many more sights that we couldn't enjoy in our short time, but we are definitely thinking of returning. Transportation is easy with an MRT tourist pass, Uber, and Taxi.

Singapore is a green, clean city. Everywhere you look you will see a tree and no rubbish enywhere. Santosa island is a must to check out and universal is amazing.
